| The spaceship containing the infant from planet Krypton lands on Earth, and the child is subsequently raised by a farmer named Jonathan Kent and his wife Martha. After growing into an adult, Clark Kent becomes a reporter for the Daily Planet newspaper. There he meets Perry White, the tough managing editor, Jimmy Olsen, a cub reporter, and journalist Lois Lane. |
