| A former rancher, cowboy singer and ex-Navy man, Guy is one of America's popular singing stars. As a youngster of 11, he was signed to play in movies, and later devoted his time to being a ranch hand. After coming out of the Navy, he applied for the male vocalist job with Carmen Cavallero's Orchestra and won it with ease. In 1949, he was the winner on Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts Show and was on his way up. |
