| Before Burt became a movie star he had a world of experience. He went to NYU on a basketball scholarship but left to join a circus and was an acrobat for five years. During the War, Burt was in Italy, North Africa, and Australia, and upon his return won a part in a Broadway show. The show folded but Burt went to Hollywood. He has been in 18 movies and formed the production firm of Hecht-Hill- Lancaster. |
