| Beyond a doubt the biggest guiding force of rock 'n roll is Alan Freed. On radio, TV, and in 5 movies, he has brought the new type of music to America's kids. A former Ohio State Uinversity graduate, Alan began his career in radio after the War and moved to New York where his programs were tremendously successful. When he put on a show in New York the huge crowd tangled traffic for blocks. |
