| Fats' first big break came when he was signed by Imperial Records. His renditions of "My Blue Heaven" and "Blueberry Hill" took the nation by storm and an all-time star was born. Fats is also a fine songwriter, his musical ability coming naturally to him. His dad played the violin and his uncle was a member of many famous jazz groups. At a rock & roll show in New York, Fats broke all attendance records. |
