| Nick's musical career was delayed due to a stint in the US Navy and a college education. Upon his high school graduation, he began to build his reputation with night club appearances. But Uncle Sam called Nick and when he was discharged, he went to Loyola University where he graduated in 1950. Nick then concentrated on music. His guest 'shot' on the Ed Sullivan Show won him thousands of fans. |
