| While in public school in New York, the Bobbettes got together to make a platter and wound up making record history. Their first disc "Mr. Lee," a song they wrote themselves, was a phenomenal success and propelled the five unknown youngsters right to the top. Offers for personal appearances followed thick and fast and the Bobbettes have built a huge following. The girls range in age from 13 to 15. |
