The Diamonds |

| After forming their group in Toronto, The Diamonds came to New York and appeared at the Palace Theatre. In the audience was a scout for Mercury Records who signed them to a recording contract. Their first platter, "Why Do Fools Fall In Love," catapulted the group into the first ranks. The Diamonds' fourth record, "Little Darling," put them in the Gold Record class with over 1,000,000 platters sold. |
