| Clyde started singing as a youngster in church choirs. When his family moved to New York, he became one of the original members of the Dominoes. Shortly after, in 1953, he formed the Drifters and was their leader until he went into the Army. Upon his discharge, Clyde decided to strike out on his own and his first platter, "Seven Day," was an instant success. Since 1956, he's headlined Rock 'n Roll shows. |
